Businesses are organized and searchable by ten business categories, making it easier to do business with minority- and women-owned businesses. Users of this database are responsible to undergo the necessary research and evaluation processes to determine businesses' qualifications and their minority/women designation eligibility. The database affords easier access to these businesses and encourages a competitive marketplace, which is a win-win for everyone.
